    Abstract

    They Shoot Horses Don't They? By Ray Herman is a play based on the novel by Horace McCoy and centres on the character of Gloria as she competes in a dance marathon for a cash prize that will enable her to survive during the American 'great depression' of the 1930's. This production was directed by Kim Hardwick with set, costume, lighting and sound design by CSU Design for Theatre and Television students. The cast included CSU Acting for Screen and Stage students. The production was performed in the Drama Studio at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga campus from 16th Oct 2012 to 20th Oct 2012.
