Abstract
Post-secondary education in Australia has some structural differences from higher education elsewhere, but the issues we, as chemical education faculty, face are the same nearly everywhere. Of special importance is how we can improve our teaching and our curriculum to give the best possible learning experience to our chemistry students. I describe teaching development programs at Charles Sturt University, how these programs have contributed to the formation of the Chemistry Teaching Team, and the Team's progress in curriculum development and the creation of a supportive, rewarding environment for professional growth at our University.
