    Abstract

    Tick, Tick Boom! By American composer Jonathan Larson (who won a Pulitzer and two Tony Awards for his musical Rent), is a musical that was staged at the Parade Playhouse, Kensington NSW from July 12th - 16th 2011, directed by Jay James-Moody and produced by Newline Productions. Tick, Tick Boom! is a autobiographical story of the creator Jonathan Larson, living in New York City in 1990. It explores life choices, the pressures of working in the performing arts, ageing, love, HIV status and illness. The emotional story has a music rock/ pop style and uses choreography to enhance the themes. A musical look at following your dreams...
