    Abstract

This chapter looks at contemporary Public Missiology in Asia. Missiology within public theology has come to the forefront in the theological consciousness of churches and Christians in recent years. We now have a Global Network in Public Theology (GNPT), involving over twenty theological institutions in all continents around the world, including Indonesia. This network was provisionally set up in Edinburgh in 2005, and formally constituted in Princeton in the United States in 2007.
