Abstract

"Train Song" is a poem for young readers, focusing on the experience of riding in public transport and choosing or refusing to enjoy the entertainment created by the natural environment outside. It is one of seven original poems chosen for inclusion in an anthology of Australasian poems, When the Moon Is Swimming Naked: Australasian Poetry for the Chinese Youngster, edited by Kit Kelen & Mark Carthew and published in a dual-language, English and Chinese, edition.
