    CityMelbourne
    Period26/10/1527/10/15
OtherThe Second National LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care Conference aims to explore how communities, governments, service providers and older LGBTI people work together to promote healthy ageing for older LGBTI people and to ensure that the needs of older LGBTI people are understood, respected and addressed in Australia’s aged care policies, programs and services.

This conference considers the National LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care Strategy developed by the Australian Department of Social Services in 2012 and asks what have we achieved and what still needs to be done? In keeping with the philosophy of Nothing About Us Without Us a commitment has been made to ensure that at least 25% of speakers are older LGBTI people.
