Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a rare potentially life-threatening immunobullous disease with significant morbidity.1 PV involves the mucous membranes and/or skin, with superficial oral mucosal ulcerations often preceding cutaneous lesions.2 Mucosal scarring can lead to blindness,and/or stenosis of upper airway, oesophagus and genitourinary tract.3
