Two People is a contemporary short story following a relationship viewed from two perspectives: that which the outside world sees and that which the couple experiences. In 2001 it was entered in the open section of the Greater City of Dandenong Writers Festival short story competition and was awarded third prize out of a judging field of more than 1,400. It was published in 2002 in the UTS Anthology, In a Cool Blue Light, and was one of five stories chosen from that anthology for a reading by each author as part of book launch proceedings at the 2002 Sydney Writers Festival.
