Abstract
The purpose of this study is to assess how andragogy methods support the learning of Indigenous entrepreneurial business acumen, enhancing Indigenous business development in Australia. Specifically, we analyse the MURRA Indigenous business Master Class taught at Melbourne Business School in Australia, this program chosen as a leaders in Indigenous business education in Australia. We examine how Indigenous entrepreneurs develop business capabilities through collaborative and contextual learning practices inside the MURRA program, and how this learning influences Indigenous business development including stimulation of new networks. We found that there are four elements that influence entrepreneurial learning within the business curriculum, and within these elements there are eight guiding practices that influence entrepreneurial development. We discuss the potential of these andragogy elements and explain how the learning practices are closely associated with the building of human and social capital.
