Abstract

Professor Fiona Brookman, University of South Wales, is a world leading expert on homicide and in Understanding Homicide (Second Edition) she has produced a comprehensive tome presenting key themes, including contextualising homicide in context, explanation for why people kill, breaking down specific homicide typologies and investigating and preventing homicides. It is 15 years since Brookman produced the first iteration of this invaluable text and this new edition is well worth the wait.
