This paper examines the theology of the ecumenical movement in Asia in recent times. It investigates three areas of significance: the movement for unity of the Asian churches; the inter-relationships between Asian churches and other Asian religions; and the search for inter-religious and societal peace and harmony in Asia. It then evaluates progress in these areas, and concludes by pointing to the dynamics of seeking societal and religious harmony.
