Research output: Book chapter/Published conference paperChapter (peer-reviewed)peer-review

Abstract

The chapter explores the tragedy of domestic abuse that so often afflicts vulnerable women in new situations. Building on Peter Phan's scholarship and going beyond it, she examines the interrelationship between traditional Christian attitudes and practices and the unbearable suffering of women, and she recommends important changes that could improve the lives of those who are vulnerable.
