    Abstract

    This book reviews the literature on information literacy in schools and on transfer before presenting full coverage of a research project which took place in three rural Australian state secondary schools. The study's methodology is outlined in detail. The findings of the study are presented and discussed. The grounded theory - relating to information literacy and transfer in schools - is presented and the implications of the theory for schools are discussed.
